Russia Ministry of Energy Awarded TNK-BP Executive Vice President
OREANDA-NEWS. September 06, 2011. Russia’s Ministry of Energy has bestowed the title “Honoured Employee of the Fuel and Energy Complex” on TNK-BP’s Executive Vice President, Upstream Sergey Brezitsky for his great contribution to the development of the fuel and energy complex and many years of conscientious work, reported the press-centre of TNK-BP.
S.Brezitsky came to work in the oil and gas industry in 1984 immediately after his graduation from the Ivano-Frankovsk Oil and Gas Institute. During the years of work, he has successfully delivered a range of projects of paramount importance that had a determining effect on the efficient development of West Siberian fields and engaging in production new oil and gas provinces in West Siberia and Yamal.
Sergey’s employment with TNK-BP accounts for the biggest part of his professional career. In the end of 1998, he became Deputy Head of the Subsurface and Oil and Gas Production Stream in Tyumen Oil Company to lead this key business area soon afterwards. During the 7 years of Sergey’s leadership the TNK-BP Upstream has achieved a material increase in the hydrocarbons production winning the company the leading role in the industry on the Russian market.
