OREANDA-NEWS. September 06, 2011. AutoKrAZ took part in National Sorochinski Fair held in Bolshiye Sorochintsy near Mirgorod. Producers from across the country brought their products to the largest Ukrainian fair, reported the press-centre of AutoKrAZ.

Holding Company has presented at Sorochintsy Fair its show-truck Krazy-Crocodile, well known in Ukraine and beyond, and its novelty, the KrAZ С18.1 dump truck with plastic bonnet made of single panel. The fair visitors, who came from throughout Ukraine and CIS countries, could not only buy agricultural products, handcraft items and jewels but also to see industrial potential of Ukraine and Poltava region in particular.

AutoKrAZ’s exposition was crowded every day of fair, those who wanted to capture the KrAZs on film and take pictures near "…big and beautiful trucks" had to make a long queue. All the visitors were speaking about Kremenchug trucks with admiration and pride: "I can’t believe it! How much are these good lookers? Well done, you, KrAZ makers, keep up surprising and rejoice! KrAZ is in the highlight as usual! ", - everybody from baby to adult could not disguise their feelings.

The governor of Poltava region when asked by AutoKrAZ’s press service about support and development program for heavy industry, in particular automotive industry that replenishes budget not only of Ukraine, but also of Poltava region, said:

"Kremenchug is an industrial centre of Poltava region, its budget is higher than Poltava’s budget, therefore, the support program is being implemented in the city where the truck maker is headquartered and there are numerous opportunities to meet targets. Currently the new municipal KrAZ vehicles are being tested in Kremenchug, cleaning its streets from dust and dirt. In case of positive results not only Kremenchug will be provided with public service vehicles but also Poltava will make a queue to purchase them and the other regions will follow their example".
