Belarusian Railway Will Take Part at OSJD Ministers Conference
OREANDA-NEWS. September 5, 2011. The delegation of the Belarusian railway in plenary XXXIX session meeting of OSJD Ministers Conference will be headed by the first deputy head of the Belarusian railway Vladimir Michailuk.
The agenda of XXXIX session OSJD Ministers Conference covers 12 issues including consideration of the annual report of OSJD activities for the year of 2010; the annual report of OSJD Auditing committee for the year 2010; the workflow of Temporary working group for improvement of fundamental OSJD documents; information about UNECE development of unified railway right in pan-European region as well as in Euro-Asian transportation corridor and other questions.
The organization of cooperation for railways (OSJD) is the international organization created in 1956. The members of OSJD are departments for transport and central public authorities who manage railway traffic in 27 countries. The Belarusian railway became the member of OSJD in 1992.
