Datong Coal Mine Makes Efforts towards Forming Rescue Teams
OREANDA-NEWS. September 05, 2011. Under the "Work Schedule on Safe Production and Emergency Management of 2011" issued by the State Administration of Work Safety, China is going to form seven national mine emergency rescue teams including one team to be based in Datong, Shanxi Province and one in Kailuan, Hebei Province. Not long ago, the State Administration of Work Safety has designated the Datong Coal Mine Group as a pilot group for the task of forming the national teams and charged it to finally set up the Datong National Mine Emergency Rescue Team, reported the press-centre of Datong Coal Mine.
In strict accordance with the relevant requirements from the country and Shanxi Province, the Datong Coal Mine Group has already started working on the task, with an aim to achieve a finalized set of organizational standards, a finalized set of rules and regulations, a finalized set of education and training handbooks, a finalized set of emergency plans, a finalized set of real drilling programs and a finalized set of infrastructural structures. It is now moving forward steadily by focusing on both "tangible" equipment and "intangible" professionalism. It has introduced advanced equipment and made efforts for the setting up a safety command center and other projects.
Meanwhile, it has teamed up four specialized groups: the dewatering group, the transportation group, the drilling group and the medical group. By integrating the existing resources of the enterprise and dividing tasks, the Datong Coal Mine Group has greatly improved the team's ability of emergency rescue.
Working with unremitting efforts, the Datong Coal Mine Group has been creating a national mine emergency rescue team with the best management, the best facilities, the best quality and the best staff in a shortest possible period of time, thus further contributing to safe production in China's coal mines.
