Bank SNORAS Continues Expansion
OREANDA-NEWS. September 05, 2011. Bank SNORAS, seeking to strengthen its positions in the market even more, this year has already established 83 new work places and it plans that before the end of the year their number will grow up to 100. Moreover, the bank further invests in the expansion of the customer service network in Lithuania – since 1 September the mini-bank of Kaunas branch in the trading and entertainment centre “Akropolis” was reorganized into the branch outlet, reported the press-centre of SNORAS.
“Seeking to strengthen the team of Bank SNORAS specialists even more and to provide qualitative services to clients, just since the beginning of this year we have established 83 new work places. We anticipate that at the end of the year the total of about 1 400 specialists will work in the bank,” says Edita Povilaviciene, the director of Bank SNORAS Human Resources Department. “We strengthen the subdivisions of information technologies and other subdivisions of the bank and we also invest in expansion – we expand the customer service network.”
According to E. Povilaviciene, this year New Technologies Development Department was established in Bank SNORAS. The total of 55 new work places were created in the department to which new information technologies specialists are planned to be accepted before the end of the year.
“Another new Changes Management Department was also established; 3 employees will work in it. Specialists of the highest competence projects and changes management will work in this subdivision,” states the director of Bank SNORAS Human Resources Department. “New work places are also created while the expansion of the customer service network in Lithuania is continued.”
Presently 1 379 employees work in Bank SNORAS, while in the companies' group – about 2 700.
In 2011 Bank SNORAS opened a new branch outlet in Silute and a mini-bank in Utena as well as in Kaunas airport, whereas last week – a new mini-bank in Lentvaris. Seeking to offer more services to business clients, since 1 September the mini-bank of the bank's Kaunas branch located in the trading and entertainment centre “Akropolis” was reorganized into Kaunas branch outlet. The total of 6 employees will work in the latter division, and one more employee is planned to be hired in the future. Moreover, the new building of the bank's branch in Utena should open its doors at the beginning of next year; the investments in it will reach about LTL 10 million.
Bank SNORAS has the most expansive customer service network in Lithuania – on 1 September this year it comprised 255 subdivisions.
