Ukraintakes Steps for Non-Admission Deficiency of Fuel
OREANDA-NEWS. September 02, 2011. The Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Yuriy Boyko said that the Government carefully monitors a situation on the oil and gas market and takes measure on stabilization of prices and non-admission deficiency of fuel. He declared this in an interview to the Government courier newspaper.
In particular the Minister stressed that Ukrainian market of mineral oil while remains dependent on import which fraction has grown from 15% in 2004 up to 60% of total amount of fuel.
"Now the Government takes measures to back to a situation which was in 2004. Because oil refining in the country are workplaces, this filling of the budget", - Yuriy Boyko emphasized.
Therefore, considering sensitivity of the Ukrainian market of mineral oil to import raw material, the Government continues to take measures for non-admission deficiency of fuel in the market.
"We very neatly carefully monitors that we don’t have a deficiency of fuel as it, unfortunately, have happened in our neighbours. An expert-analytical group with participants of the market sits weekly, we trace quantity of a resource, how many oil has come, how many gasoline and disel has come, how many is advanced by the enterprises, what price policy is", - Yuriy Boyko informed.
The Minister noted that the Government considers fluctuations of the prices for oil in the world, using market mechanisms at calculations, for stabilization of prices in the market of mineral oil.
"There is market mechanism in Ukraine according to which we carry out calculations. If there is a fluctuation of the prices for oil, we in appropriate way respond and cut a speculative component. This main thing that the Government does and it will do it further", - Yuriy Boyko emphasized.
