OREANDA-NEWS. September 02, 2011. The cooperation of Ukraine and the Customs Union is possible exclusively in the format "3+1". It was declared by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov at open lecture which he given today for students of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

“In order to join us to the Customs Union, it is necessary to review all agreements that we accepted with members of the WTO. Is it real? This is absolutely not realistic. That's why we tell our Russian partners: let's begin the movement for benefit of economic cooperation within the limits of the formula offered by the President of Ukraine “3+1”, - Mykola Azarov noted.

According to the Head of Government within the limits of cooperation with Customs Union in the format “3+1” Ukraine is ready to consider the agreements acting within the limits of this consolidation. “The President of Ukraine has offered the cooperation formula in the format “3+1” and we can begin gradually consideration of those agreements which are signed within the limits of Customs Union. As we will study and consider them, to some of them we will join. That is we have offered normal stage-by-stage process of the cooperation of Ukraine with Customs Union”, - Mykola Azarov emphasized.
