OREANDA-NEWS. September 02, 2011. The NBM’s foreign exchange reserves totaled USD 2,011.6 mln, up USD 21.41 mln (1%) over the previous reporting week, the NBM reported.

The previous absolute historical record of the NBM’s currency reserves was USD 1,988.08 mln and was registered on July 29.

It should be noted that the NBM’s foreign exchange reserves only in July increased by USD 86.61 mln, mainly owing to the next USD 79.69 mln disbursement of the credit from the IMF. In the first half of 2011, the NBM’s foreign exchange reserves increased b USD 183.79 mln (10.7 percent), totaling USD 1,901.48 mln by the end of June this year.
