OREANDA-NEWS. September 1, 2011. 600 million yuan of special fund was granted on August 30 for the construction of Hefei-Wuhu-Bengbu Innovative Pilot Zone and the project of Pilot Province of National Technological Innovation. It is learned that the newly granted fund will be used for 100 key projects scattered in 16 cities across the province. So far, a total of 2.2 billion yuan has been granted.

It is expected that this batch of projects will draw investment of 1 billion yuan from cities and counties and 10.2 billion yuan for R & D from related enterprises.

According to related staff with Anhui Provincial Financial Bureau, the distribution of the fund will tilt in favor of emerging industries and characteristic industries.
