Apranga Group Announces Turnover in August 2011
OREANDA-NEWS. September 1, 2011. The retail turnover (including VAT) of the leader of retail apparel market in Lithuania and the Baltic States Apranga Group has made LTL 43.7 million (EUR 12.6 million) in August 2011, and has increased 8.8% in comparison to August 2010.
In January through August 2011 the retail turnover of Apranga Group (including VAT) has made LTL 260.2 million (EUR 75.4 million), and has increased 11.6% year-to-year.
In January through August 2011 the retail turnover of Apranga Group in Lithuania increased 10.0% year-to-year, in Latvia increased 10.0% and in Estonia increased 22.9%.
Currently Apranga Group operates the chain of 119 stores covering an area of 64.2 thousand sq. m. The stores area reduced by 0.9% during the year.
In August 2011 Apranga Group opened 3 new stores: “Massimo Dutti” in Vilnius, “Marina Rinaldi” in Vilnius and “Promod” in Tartu. Also in August opened the door fully reconstructed “Apranga” chain store in Riga, shopping centre “Domina”.
Shares of Apranga are listed on Baltic equity list on NASDAQ OMX Vilnius Stock Exchange. Majority shareholder of Apranga Group is concern MG Baltic.
