OREANDA-NEWS. September 01, 2011. The second session of the third Board Meeting ("the Meeting") of China COSCO Holdings Co Ltd ("the Company") was held at Ocean Plaza, with parallel session at 47F Hong Kong COSCO Tower via teleconference, reported the press-centre of COSCO.

The Meeting was presided by Capt. Wei Jiafu, Chairman of the Company, and attended by the Company directors including Capt. Zhang Liang, Madam Sun Yueying, Dr. Sun Jiakang, Capt. Xu Minjie, along with independent directors including Mr. S.S. Teo, Madam Rita Fan Hsu Lai Tai, Mr. Kwong Che Keung, and Mr. Peter Guy Bowie.

The Meeting was also observed by Mr. Li Yunpeng, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee, and other members of the Board of Supervisors including Mr. Wu Shuxiong, Mr. Ma Jianhua and Mr. Luo Jiulian. Independent Supervisors of the Company Mr. Yu Shicheng and Mr. Meng Yan; Executive Vice President of the Company Mr. Xu Zunwu, and Mr. Ye Weilong; CFO of the Company Mr. He Jiale and Secretary of the Board Mr. Zhang Yongjian also observed the Meeting.

A total of 16 proposals including the Company's 2011 1H report (A-share/H-share), the appointment of senior management members,the appointment of new directors of the board, and other business-related issues were discussed and unanimously approved by the Meeting. 

On the same day, the Second Session of the Third Board of Supervisors of the Company ("the Session") was convened and attended by all six members of the Board of Supervisors. The Company's 2011 1H report, abstract of the Company's 2011 1H financial report, announcement of the Company's interim results (H-share) and other issues were discussed and unanimously approved on the Session. The Company's 2011 H1 financial conditions were also reported to the Session, which has also approved the Board of Supervisors' Resolution.
