CNPC, Mongolia Sign Memo for Expanding Petroleum Cooperation
OREANDA-NEWS. September 01, 2011. Witnessed by member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Central Committee Political Bureau Zhou Yongkang and Mongolian Prime Minister Batbold, CNPC President Jiang Jiemin and Mongolia's Deputy Minister for Mineral Resources and Energy Ariunsan signed a memo for expanding petroleum cooperation in Ulan Bator, reported the press-centre of CNPC.
According to the memo, the two sides agreed to expand CNPC's downstream business in Mongolia, secure a sound environment for the upstream cooperation projects, and increase employment and training opportunities to the local people in Mongolia.
