PrivatBank Obtained Status of Bank with Foreign Capital
OREANDA-NEWS. August 31, 2011. The increasing of PrivatBank's share capital by almost a half (up to UAH13,545,171,615) and obtaining the status of a bank with foreign capital, that was approved by the shareholders' general meeting on August 8th, provides the new opportunities for the bank and its customers. Such decisions allowed to ensure even greater level of PrivatBank's reliability and provided new resources on investing in technologies and innovations to improve further the standards of customer servicing.
Last two years, technologies developed by PrivatBank have received recognition and awards at prestigious international conferences (Finovate in London, FinovateSpring in San Francisco). Innovative and business solutions have been acknowledged by the experts of international business magazines, among which there are The Banker, Global Finance and others.
High marks from the experts, interest to PrivatBank’s practices from foreign bankers along with the bank’s good pace of development in Europe and Asia, the growth of its customer base and progress in volume of provided services - all this make PrivatBank’s transition to a new stage of development the issue of real importance, specifically: the capital increase to a record level for Ukrainian commercial bank and obtaining the status of the bank with foreign capital.

According to A.Dubilet, the intensive Bank's activities in international markets will provide abroad-Ukrainians with convenient access to banking services, and customers in Ukraine - with new products and improved servicing standards. Moreover, increase in equity and new aims in the international market will enable even more intensive development of such key issues as internet banking, mobile banking and other banking innovative projects by Banking Innovations Laboratory of PrivatBank’s Electronic Business Centre.
