OREANDA-NEWS. August 31, 2011. The heads of regional, Kiev and Sevastopol city state administrations should accelerate work on filling state and to creation of regional reserves of grain. Such task was put by the First Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Andriy Klyuyev on conference call with heads of all regions of Ukraine. It is necessary to provide purchase of food grain in the state intervention fund in volume not less than three million tons, he has declared.

The First Vice Prime Minister has reminded that harvesting of the early grain is almost finished. It is gathered more than 34 million tons of grain, from them wheat - more than 23 million tons; harvesting of groat cultures, ahead corn harvesting proceeds.

Andriy Klyuyev has declared that the Agrarian Fund works over deliveries of food grain of a present crop insufficiently. According to the First Vice Prime Minister, the Agrarian Fund has received only 401 thousand tons or 45 % of the provided volumes. In total in the state intervention fund is registered only 523 thousand tons of grain, he has declared. The First Vice Prime Minister has set the task to accelerate forming of the state intervention fund including delivery in it of food grains of a crop of 2011 under forward contracts.

The First Vice Prime Minister also has set the task to the Ministry of Agricultural Policy and to heads of regions daily to represent the information to a management of the Cabinet of Ministers concerning volumes of filling of regional grain resources. In turn the Ministry of Finance should represent daily the information on assignment for these purposes in each region.
