OREANDA-NEWS. August 31, 2011. Specialists of TITAN-2 Holding’s subsidiary - Installation and Construction Directorate No. 90 have started repair works at the production facilities of Acron, JSC located in the Novgorod region, reported the press-centre of TITAN-2.

Within the scope of reconstruction of unit No.3 of ammonia plant, the specialists of the leading assembly business entity of the Holding will replace 50 big sections of the turbine draught equipment, as well as heat exchangers and process pipelines.

It can be marked that these two organizations have been cooperating their efforts in retrofitting of process facilities for several years already. In 2008, MSU-90, JSC took part in the works in upgrading unit No.1, and in 2010  - in upgrading unit No.2. The main purposes of the chemical plant facilities reconstruction is to stabilize the work of equipment, to increase their daily output and to reduce power consumption.

The total cost of mechanical and repair works to be performed by the workers of MSU-90, JSC will be about 25 mln roubles.
