First Feedstock Brought to Polypropylene Plant in Omsk
OREANDA-NEWS. August 31, 2011. According to elaborated contracts, polypropylene plant started feedstock supplies. 160 tonnes of polypropylene powder of Basell company and extrusion additives arrived to Omsk, reported the press-centre of Titan.
They are necessary for running in of one of the major units – the extruder, products pipe line cleaning and testing of prepacking and palletizing line.
Besides in the near future the warehouses will replenish stocks of stabilizers (the suppliers are German companies BASF and Sud Chemie). Stabilizers give necessary service properties to the powder. Supplies of feedstock will continue during Summer-Autumn period: all components necessary for polypropylene production will arrive before the start-up of the plant – all contracts needed for this had already been concluded.
