OREANDA-NEWS. August 31, 2011. In the middle of August the external Internet gateway of Belarus was extended by 10 Gbps. The extension was performed with the company "RetnNet" in the direction of Russia. The total Internet gateway capacity equals to 130 Gbps, 100 Gbps of which are organized in the direction of Russia.

The previous Internet gateway extension was conducted in May 2011 in the direction of Russia and with the company "RetnNet".

CJSC RetnNet represents within the territory of Russia the international telecommunications trunk network RETN (Real Time Network). RETN provides data, voice and IP traffic transmission between the largest telecommunication nodes of the world and Russia.
