OREANDA-NEWS. August 30, 2011. Vnesheconombank took 8th place in the rating of the safest banks in Central and Eastern Europe. The rating was published by the Global Finance Magazine. The safest banks were selected through an evaluation of long-term credit ratings from Moody’s, Standard & Poor’s and Fitch as well as their total assets. The Magazine considered the 500 largest banks of the region. The rating is published by the Magazine on an annual basis.
