Belarusian Real Individual Incomes Up 12,3% Jan-Jun 2011
OREANDA-NEWS. August 30, 2011. Belarusians’ real incomes [adjusted for inflation] rose 12.3% on the year in January-June 2011, the National Statistics Committee said in a press release.
Individual incomes rose 37.1% on the year in January-June to 65.1 trillion Belarusian rubles (Br), while consumer prices increased 2.1% year-on-year. As a result, incomes rose 12.3% in real terms.
Real disposable incomes went up 9.9% on the year in January-June 2011.
Incomes per capita amounted to 1,145,900 rubles in January-June 2011.
Compensations accounted for 65.3% of total incomes in January-June 2011, up from 56.2% in January-June 2010.
Social transfers – pensions, allowances and study grants – accounted for 20.3%, down from 20.5% in January-June 2010, and incomes entrepreneurial activities and other income-gaining activities for 11.4%, down from 20.4%, and incomes from property – yield on deposit and dividends – for 3%, down from 2.9%.
