Foreign Investments to Make 74.6% in Developing Countries
OREANDA-NEWS. August 29, 2011. Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), which is part of the World Bank group has made a medium-term investment forecast in the world.
Under MIGA forecasts in 2011 net private inflows( equity + debt) in developing countries made USD 670 bn with the prospect of increase up to USD 771 bn in 2012. At that net inflow of foreign direct investments (FDI) wil rise from USD 501 bn to USD 575 bn and net portfolio equity inflows- from USD 63 bn to USD 78 bn.
Net private and official inflows reached peak in 2007(USD 1203 bn.),net FDI inflow – in 2008 (USD 587 bn) and net portfolio equity inflows- in 2007 (USD 135 bn.).
