Tata Steel Bags Top Three Positions
OREANDA-NEWS. August 29, 2011. In a thumping victory, Tata Steel bagged the first three positions at the India’s biggest corporate business quiz – the Tata Crucible Quiz-2011, Jamshedpur round, held at Rabindra Bhavan today. The third position was also shared by Tata Motors.
Six teams qualified for the finals after clearing the preliminary 20-question round. The list of winners from Jamshedpur is as follows:

The chief guest for programme, Mr M G Singh, Chief (Administration), Corporate Services, Tata Steel, awarded the winning team a cash prize of Rs. 75,000 and Rs. 35,000 to runners-up team.
In this quiz where the ‘winner takes it all’, the duo from Tata Steel, Siddharth Mishra and Amit Agrawal in a hard-fought final, toppled the other teams to emerge victorious, displaying their sharp skills and great quizzing acumen. They will now compete with regional winners from across 18 other cities, at the Grand National Final scheduled to be held in Mumbai on 02nd October, 2011 for a grand prize of Rs 4 lakhs.
The quiz was hosted by ace quizmaster Mr. Giri Balasubramaniam a.k.a. Pickbrain who tested the speed of thought and the ability of logical reasoning of the participating teams with interesting questions.
The Tata Crucible corporate quiz after Jamshedpur will now move to Bangalore (Sept 4), Chennai (Sept 10), Pune (Sept 17), Mumbai (Sept 18), Ahmedabad (Sept 19), Goa (Sept 22), Lucknow (Sept 24), Delhi (Sept 25) and Chandigarh (Sept 26). The winning teams from the regional rounds will qualify for the National Finals, which will be held in Mumbai on October 2, 2011.

'Tata Crucible Quiz' seeks to bring together sharpest young minds in India to take on the heat of the toughest business quiz in India.
