OREANDA-NEWS. August 29, 2011. Ukraine hasn’t sharp indispensability in attraction of the credit of the International Monetary Fund. The Prime Minister Mykola Azarov informed about it at a briefing after the expanded session of board of the Ministry of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of Ukraine.

"We are in the program of cooperation with IMF. We carry out the majority of program tasks. It is an answer to our national interests. I repeat we don’t need money now, if we need, then we will go to Washington, lay down the certain conditions, satisfy conditions which are provided to us by creditors, and we will receive this tranche. Any obstacles for reception of a tranche does not exist", - Mykola Azarov emphasized.

Thus he noted now there was no sharp indispensability in attraction of means of the next tranche of IMF. As he said, means from the credit of IMF do not go on financing of a budget deficit, and are received to foreign exchange reserves of National bank of Ukraine. Now reserves of NBU are growing and provide stability of national currency. "We don’t need next tranche of the credit from IMF now, - Mykola Azarov emphasized. - What is the reason to increase the external state debt? Why do we degrade the parameters of the country in international markets and to involve these of 2-3 billion dollars which, by the way, go not to the budget, not on financing of a budget deficit, and go on an increase of currency resources of the country? "
