OREANDA-NEWS. August 26, 2011.   The first day of the visit of the representatives of AVEC Group of companies to China was full of important business meetings and presentations.

 The main event of the day for Ukrainian business in China was the investment seminar "Investments in Ukraine", organized by the "Committee of China to Promote International Trade" (CCPIT) under the support of the General Consulate of Ukraine in the PRC. During the seminar a wide audience of Chinese business representatives reviewed the business environment in Ukraine. The seminar was attended by leaders of 25 large Chinese companies.

 The speakers at the seminar were the General Consul of Ukraine in China Sergey Burdulyak, Ukrainian parliamentary Oleksandr Feldman, CEO of Huawei Ukraine Mr. XU Jie and Chairman of the Supervisory board of AVEC Group of companies Aleksey Chernyshov.

 "Chinese businessmen – the representatives of large companies who attended the investment seminar were very attentive and interested in both the smallest details of business environment in Ukraine and in projects that we have presented, – said Alexey Chernyshov. – Chinese business is very active and has really great resources for investment. A number of companies that delegate their representatives to the presentation of GC AVEC, have an annual turnover exceeding 10 billion U.S. dollars. This fact and the fact of the high attendance of the seminar "Investing in Ukraine" demonstrate mutual interest of Chinese business to implementation of large Ukrainian-Chinese projects.

 Three projects that were presented by us aroused lively interest, and we made agreements with a number of Chinese companies to establish joint working groups. The purpose of these working groups is preparation of the necessary documents and procedures for implementation of investments into our projects by our Chinese partners. This is, of course, just the first step in our cooperation with Chinese colleagues, but a very positive and promising step, this is the step to success”.
