OREANDA-NEWS. August 26, 2011. The Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources expects activation of inflow of investments into geological branch at the end of 2011 and in the beginning of 2012.

This was started by the Minister of Environment and Natural Resources of Ukraine Mykola Zlochevskiy. "Negotiations with world leaders, companies Shell, Shevron and Eni, with advantage come to the end, and in the nearest half a year they will start to realize in Ukraine scale projects", - the Minister noted.

Mykola Zlochevskiy also emphasized that the state had already solved practically all problems which impeded to investors in geological branch earlier: " I have received from the President the task to make everything that the mechanism of investigation and development of deposits was opened, and investors were not afraid to put means. We have simplified the order of signing of contracts about section of production.

It is legislatively guaranteed to investors, that the tax base from the moment of signing the contract and before its completion cannot change in the worst side, only for the best. We have made so, that after a victory over competition winner don’t need any additional documents and coordination - only the company wins at competition, it at once can start to work. The same companies, wishing to receive the license, instead of the contract about section of production, will take part in the open auctions. If the company needs to prolong the license or other permits, it should not go many cabinets any more. There is a uniform window - Geological service".

The Minister of Environment and Natural Resources Mykola Zlochevskiy noted that priority directions of investment activity would be shelves of the Black and Azov seas, as well as deposits of slate gas.

"The domestic companies also began to buy and introduce the European technologies in the field of exploitation of minerals. They have understood that this direction of work is how much perspective. Therefore foreign investors will have a healthy competition", - the Minister added.
