Ukrainian Officials Conduct Negotiations with IMF
OREANDA-NEWS. August 26, 2011. The Minister of Finance of Ukraine Fedor Yaroshenko and the Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Yuriy Boyko are in Washington (USA) where carry on negotiations with a management of the International Monetary Fund concerning continuation of the program of cooperation "stand-by". It was declared by Prime Minister Mykola Azarov.
At the same time he has pointed out that now there is no necessity to receive financing from IMF.
"It is necessary to take credits only in a special emergency when it is necessary to start up the economics and when it is necessary to settle payments on debts which one are saved up by forerunners. We take evenly so much how many it is necessary. Now in Washington there is a Minister of Finance and the Minister of Energy and Coal Industry. We reside in the course of negotiations, in the course of contacts because they our creditors, they should know how we administer an economy, what the budget at us, incomes and expenses. We report to them as they credit us. Therefore at all of us it is normal", - Mykola Azarov told.
