SOCAR Started Construction Tourism Sites in Georgia
OREANDA-NEWS. August 25, 2011. Black Sea terminal situated in Georgian Kulevi port and owned by State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has joined construction of tourism sites in Georgia.
New 540 m long Foot Bridge connecting Anaklia and Ganmukhuri was opened in resort town Anaklia on 22nd of August, 2011. The Foot Bridge is fully made from wood and as announced by Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia in autumn the bridge will be nominated in the International Contest of the Bridges in New-York.
For construction of the longest Foot Bridge in Europe the Black Sea Terminal LLC has passed for temporary use a transfer pontoon. BST is often involved in such kind of activities, and tries to support development and progress not only in the region, but whole country",- the report says.
