EMAlliance and Gazprom Energoholding Concluded Cooperation Agreement
OREANDA-NEWS. August 25, 2011. PJSC EMAlliance and ООО Gazprom Energoholding have concluded a Cooperation Agreement in the field of joint implementation of the innovation projects. The Agreement was signed by Denis Fedorov, General Director of ООО Gazprom Energoholding, and Levan Dzigua, General Director of PJSC EMAlliance.
According to the Agreement, in the nearest future there will be formed the special joint coordination board, which will prepare, in particular, a list of the most potential projects on the basis of the up-to-date technologies and advanced R&D – for joint implementation.
In this regard, we consider the following trends of scientific and technological cooperation as the most promissing: development of HRSG technology for CCP, construction of CFB boiler plants, development of the modern flue gas scrubbing equipment of nitrogen oxides, sulphur oxides, particulate matters and carbon dioxide.
The Agreement also provides for application of the joint developments for the modernization, servicing and development of ООО Gazprom Energoholding power projects with a view to improve the reliability, economical operation, operational and ecological characteristics of power equipment.
“By now, the investment portfolio of Gazprom Energoholding contains the most of innovation projects among all Russian power market generating companies. We are sure that innovations are a necessary condition of the dynamic development and leadership of the modern power engineering companies. Because of that we are ready to extend a many-sided cooperation with partners who share our view of innovations. The Agreement with EMAlliance gives good opportunities for the development of the large range of perspective and very interesting developments”, - Denis Fedorov has emphasized.
While commenting on the Agreement signing, Mr. Avdeenko Timur, President of PJSC EMAlliance, has noted that today the innovation development of power industry in Russia is a foreground target in the sustainable development of the state. “Innovations in the modern economy is not yet a freak, but a way to survive and keep competitive ability. The effective, “smart” economy is in fact a basis for successful realization of such innovations in other branches. This is a global, long-term target that can be achieved only within the framework of serious partnership of the largest companies and active participation of the state. We and our partners have taken the first step. I’m sure that this step will be successful and will be of a good example for those who will follow the innovators”, - he added.
