OREANDA-NEWS. August 25, 2011.  Construction will start on the Anhui-section of the Yuexi-Wuhan expressway in the near future.

The expressway will run over a total length of 180 kilometers, with a 46-kilometer section in Anhui province and the rest in its neighbouring Hubei province.

Stretching across the Dabie Mountain area in the southwest of the province, the Anhui-section of the express link has recently been included in the province's transportation development plan for the 12th Five-Year Plan (2011-2015) period.

The Yuexi-Wuhan expressway is part of a larger motorway linking Lishui of east China's Jiangsu province and Ma'anshan, Anqing and Wuhan, cities located in the middle of the country.
