OREANDA-NEWS. August 25, 2011. For the period of first half of 2011 PrivatBank paid UAH680.590mln of taxes and duties to the national and numerous regional state budgets. According to the PrivatBank press service, the bank has transferred UAH342.008mln to the State Pension Fund only. Income taxes of individuals, transferred to the budget, amounted UAH134.560mln. PrivatBank will transfer additional UAH73mln of income tax to the state budget by August 20th. Thus, the sum of income tax for first 6 months of 2011 will sum up more than UAH179mln.

Moreover, all the bank’s structural divisions operating in all regions of Ukraine locally pay their local taxes and fees.

For comparison, the amount of taxes and fees paid by PrivatBank for six months of 2010 was UAH334mln. Thus, this amount has grown more than twice. PrivatBank officials consider the increase was entailed by the economic recovery in Ukraine after the global financial crisis.

According to the National Bank of Ukraine, PrivatBank is the leader in Ukrainian banking market by key indicators. The bank serves 334 thousand of corporate customers, 314 thousand of private entrepreneurs and more than 1.5 million clients receive services in PrivatBank daily.
