OREANDA-NEWS. August 25, 2011. Norinco vice President Luo Kaiquan paid a visit to Bolivian President Evo Morales, reported the press-centre of Norinco.

Morales expressed his gratitude to Norinco and his appreciation of the cooperation between Norinco and Bolivia, expecting further expansion of bilateral cooperation in the future to achieve mutual benefits and win-win. Morales highlighted the recent prolonged drought situation in Bolivia, hoping Norinco can provide drilling equipment as soon as possible to ensure basic domestic water needs in Bolivia.

Luo Kaiquan introduced the basic information about Norinco to Morales, and said that Norinco has always attached great importance to cooperation with Bolivia. Norinco has shipped a batch of drilling equipment to Bolivia, and the delivered equipment has been well received by users, according to Mr. Luo. He added that Norinco will send an after-sales service team to Bolivia for equipment maintenance. For the current railway construction project of Bolivia under development, the company has made active preparation and is ready to provide Bolivia with railway design, construction and related services based on Bolivia’s future railway plan.
