OREANDA-NEWS. August 25, 2011. According to data published on the website of this American payment system, Pay Pal money transfers to Moldova, along with Russia and Ukraine, will be possible starting from September.

Moldova is among the countries of the Europe II group, for which commission for the payment from the bank- or PayPal account inside the country will amount to 0%, and the international commission – 1%.

At the same time, the commission for payment that is partially or fully paid from the debit or credit card inside the country for Moldova will be 4.4 percent plus the fixed commission in the amount of 0.35 euros or USD 0.3 and so on, depending on the kind of currency.

Moldovan citizens can register in the PayPal system and purchase goods in online shops working with it. The PayPal payment system belongs to the Internet auction eBay Inc. PayPal is the largest debit electronic payment system. It currently works in 190 countries and has over 164 mln registered users.
