OREANDA-NEWS. August 24, 2011. Jinchuan Research & Design Institute for Nickel & Cobalt, a R & D arm of Jinchuan Group Ltd., set up four research departments, reported the press-centre of Jinchuan Group.

The four departments, namely, Department of Laterite Resources Development, Department of Metal Rolling, Department of Resources Comprehensive Utilization and Department of Titanium Metallurgy, will provide technical support to the Group.

They aim to make breakthroughs in both practical and fundamental research areas, develop core technologies with proprietary intellectual property rights and push the industrialization of their research achievements.

Technological innovation has been an important driver for the Group’s sustainable development.   
Over the past years, the Group, relying on technological advancements and focusing on independent innovation, has developed many world leading or China leading technologies.
