OREANDA-NEWS. August 24, 2011. For the purpose of assessing the effectiveness of the planned geological and technical measures (interventions) at the facilities of crude oil fields development the specialists of TatNIPIneft of TATNEFT have developed a "Delta Plan" program, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.

The state registration certificate number of the computer program is 2009616175. Calculation algorithms of the program correspond to "Guidelines for evaluating the effectiveness of investment projects and their selection for funding."

The program has been designed to improve the efficiency of development and intensification of crude oil production through application of the formation stimulating technologies set with continuous assessment of the limits of the economically feasible crude oil deposits production.

This program is a tool for geologists of an NGDU (Oil & Gas Production Board) and allows managing the development of crude oil fields with application of cost-effective well interventions with calculation of quantitative indicators: crude oil and liquid production, volume of injection, additional production, pay-back and rate of return.

The program has been implemented and is successfully used in oil and gas production divisions of TATNEFT for calculating the efficiency of the planned interventions in the areas of the deposits. A training version of the program is installed at AGNI (Almetyevsk State Petroleum Institute), and training aids have also been prepared for students.
