OREANDA-NEWS. August 23, 2011. For Jan-July 2011 Azerbaijan increased its agricultural exports 1.68 fold  against its fall by 20.1% in 2010.

The State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan reports that export of vegetables and fruits from the country totaled USD 95.976  million for Jan-July of the year against USD 57.156 million for Jan-July 2010. By 1 August 2011 it reached, however, only 0.62% of country’s total exports against 0.73% following the results of 2010. In July 2011 vegetables and fruits for USD 1.127 million were exported from the country against USD 45.062 million in June (record index in country’s history).

Export of fruits and vegetables was USD 1.555 bn in 2010 and USD 192.55 million in 2009.
