OREANDA-NEWS. August 23, 2011. IZ-KARTEX, a part of OMZ Group, will manufacture EKG-10 and EKG-15 walking shovels for its long-term partner, Uzbekistan Navoisky metals and mining company.

The contracts with one of the largest gold producers in the world were signed in August 2011. EKG-10 is to be delivered in December 2011, while EKG-15 will be shipped in February 2012.

Since the beginning of the year IZ-KARTEX has manufactured and shipped 19 electric shovels, including twelve EKG-10, four EKG-15, one EKG-12K, one EKG-18R and one EKG-32R – the largest Russian crowd power shovel (ordered by JSC  Kuzbassrazrezugol).
