OREANDA-NEWS. August 23, 2011. The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine works on creation of conditions for progress of navigation on Dnipro. Now the Department of State Policy in the field of marine and river transport of the Ministry of Infrastructure defined the basic actions on realization of a problem on increase of a share of transportations of cargoes across Dnepr by an existing fleet of the state and private navigable companies put by the vice Prime Minister - Minister of Infrastructure Borys Kolesnikov.

In particular, the tariff policy both on water and on railway transportation requires perfection. Besides, it is necessary to reduce number and duration of procedures of the control over supervising bodies. Also there is an indispensability of updating of river infrastructure.

For the decision of the specified issues the Ministry of Infrastructure has created the Working Group concerning restoration of transportations by water transport and improvement of tariff policy in adjacent types of transport which structure included also representatives of Ukrzaliznytsia.

it is planned to hold the first session of the Working group in the near future, as becomes following step in the decision of issues of maintenance of appropriate conditions of progress of cargo transportations across Dnipro.
