OREANDA-NEWS. August 22, 2011. Chen Zhenggao, Governor of Liaoning Provincial Government, conducted an inspection visit to the jobsite of Tanggangzi New Town Project in Anshan. This works was contracted by the 3rd China Metallurgical Construction Group (3MCC Group). Now the project is under implementation, covering a planned land area of 298 square kilometers, reported the press-centre of MCC.

The infrastructure construction works for water/power supply and access roads have been commenced. In addition, the construction works for 12 thermal spring tourism facilities will be started successively. Under this project, 3MCC Group is responsible for the works of Yuquan New Town, which is located in the north part of the jobsite, covering a floorage area of 125,000 square meters and consisting of 62 villas, two commercial networks, with a construction period from June 2011 to May 2012.

Now the overall construction work has been commenced.

During the inspection, Chen Zhenggao pointed out that efforts should be redoubled for construction of Tanggangzi New Town Project, which was deemed to be a new economic growth point for Anshan City in the near future. Under this project, effective measures should be taken to promote the development of thermal spring tourism. At present, emphasis should be laid upon the project execution.

In this view, Chen requested the contractor to set up definite targets and responsibility system, to give full play to the initiative and creativity among all the relevant parties and ensure the project to be implemented on a quality basis. Chen also encouraged all the people to make great contribution to the development of affordable housing project and establish Tanggangzi New Town into a national and international famous resort of thermal spring tourism.
