OREANDA-NEWS. August 22, 2011. Most works were fulfilled by economic agents of the private ownership form totaling 1,306.2 mln leis (81.5% of the total volume of fulfilled contract works) or 100.6 percent against January-June 2010, the National Statistics Office reported.

In terms of the elements of the structure of works fulfilled by building organizations, fulfillment of works at construction new objects dominated, totaling about 829.1 mln leis in January-June this year; their share making up 51.7 percent in the total volume of fulfilled works.

45.6 percent of the total volume of fulfilled building works accounted for capital and current repairs. The growth of fulfilled works was registered at construction of non-residential buildings and engineering structures, constituting, respectively, 21.9% and 5.3% in comparison with the same period last year; at building of residential buildings reduction was 16.7 percent.
