OREANDA-NEWS. August 19, 2011. Director General of KAMAZ’s subsidiary in Stavropol – Trailer KAMAZ Inc. – Valery Eryomin said that, in accordance with the policies of the parent company, the subsidiary company planned to diversify production.

“Developing our core products – trailers and semitrailers, improving their consumer and performance properties, we also intend to diversify production in order to keep the plant running at full capacity," Valery Eryomin said to journalists. The company will develop various types of special equipment on KAMAZ chassis, special-purpose agricultural equipment, manufacture construction and industrial metalware, and also provide maintenance and repair services to restore trailers and special vehicles for Russia’s Ministry of Defense.

The enterprise has already started increasing production. Taking into account demand in special equipment in the region, an agreement was signed with Palfinger (Austria) to establish a dealership for sales, installation and maintenance of crane manipulators by this company on the territory of North Caucasian and Southern Federal Districts.

Jointly with Pyatigorsk State University and NPF “Agrotekhnik”, experts of Trailer KAMAZ Inc. are developing modern anti-locust complexes and agricultural equipment. Within the frameworks of innovative projects development, with the active support and participation of the Government and the Ministry of Industry of Stavropol Krai, the company produces plates for heat exchangers, carries out negotiations on production of electric vehicles. In addition, the subsidiary of KAMAZ organizes maintenance of platforms for KAMAZ-53501 vehicles jointly with ZAO "Remdiesel".
