OREANDA-NEWS. August 19, 2011. The Chief State Tax Inspection obliged owners of slot machines in Moldova to provide cash vouchers when selling goods by the end-2011. The deputy head of the Chief State Tax Inspection Gheorghii Cojocari said this demand of the tax service was determined by the often complaints from different public organizations and citizens at infringement of consumers’ rights, when cash vouchers are not provided with purchase of goods (works, services) for cash.

Gheorghii Cojocari said the slot machines, just like the rest of trading outlets/suppliers of services should have cash registers with fiscal memory and provide cash vouchers to consumers, irrespectively of the fact, whether these services are sold by a seller or by a slot machine. The deadline for fulfilling these requirements is December 31, 20110.
