OREANDA-NEWS. August 18, 2011. Ge Honglin, Vice Secretary of CPC Chengdu Municipal Committee & Mayor of Chengdu Municipal Government, and his delegation members conducted an inspection visit to the jobsite of Foxconn works (Western Area) in Chengdu, reported the press-centre of MCC Group.

As the No. 1 major works of Chengdu City, this project was contracted by the 5th China Metallurgical Construction Group (5MCC Group). At the jobsite, Ge Honglin was debriefed on the project implementation by Vice General Manager Tian Shun of 5MCC Group, and gave full recognition on the execution progress.

Up to now, plastering works for the high-rise buildings in the No. 1 and No. 4 blocks under the 2nd Phase Foxconn Project has been started; the main works in the No. 2 block has been finished, the external framework of the three buildings in this area are being demolished; the demolishing works of the external framework in the No. 2 block has been fulfilled. In general the overall project is being implemented on a quality and timely basis.
