China Coal Reports in 1H Results
OREANDA-NEWS. August 18, 2011. Revenue of the Group in the first half of 2011 was RMB41.767 billion, representing an increase of RMB6.677 billion (or 19.0%) over the same period of 2010, reported the press-centre of China Coal.
Profit attributable to equity holders of the Company in the first half of 2011 was RMB5.598 billion, representing an increase of RMB403 million (or 7.8%) over the same period of 2010.
Basic earnings per share of the Company during the reporting period was RMB0.42, representing an increase of RMB0.03 over the same period of 2010.
EBITDA in the first half of 2011 was RMB9.865 billion, representing an increase of RMB518 million (or 5.5%) over the same period of 2010.
The Company does not distribute interim dividends for 2011.
The board of directors of China Coal Energy Company Limited (“China Coal Energy” or the “Company”) (the “Board”) is pleased to announce the interim results of the Company and its subsidiaries (collectively referred to as the “Group”) for the six months ended 30 June 2011 prepared in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”). The Group’s interim results have not been audited, but have been reviewed by the Company’s auditor, PricewaterhouseCoopers.
