OREANDA-NEWS. August 18, 2011. A regular compliance audit of the integrated management system (IMS) of industrial safety, occupational health, labor and environment protection has been successfully carried out at TATNEFT, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.

A group of leading auditors of "Bureau Veritas Certification Rus" Company has carried out the regular annual audit of the current OAO TATNEFT's integrated management system of industrial safety, occupational health, labor and environment protection for compliance with international standards ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007.

The task of the annual audit is to confirm the effectiveness and compliance of the IMS with the requirements of ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007, as well as the ability of the Company's integrated management system to develop and achieve the objectives set.

As a result of the independent audit carried out by experts of ZAO "Bureau Veritas Certification Rus" in the executive office of the Company, NGDU Almetyevneft and Bugulma Mechanical Plant, independent auditors have come out with their recommendations "to extend the certificates validity". Thus TATNEFT Company has reaffirmed that its environmental practices comply with the international standards.
