OREANDA-NEWS. August 17, 2011. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the State target social program of development of manufacture of children’s food products for 2012-2016.

The program has an object to create favourable conditions for progress of manufacture of safe and qualitative children’s food products. For this propose there would be state support on technical re-equipment of the enterprises - manufacturers of children’s food products- and creation of new capacities and laboratory equipments. Except for it the Program provides development of standards and technical rules of a designation, packing, and marks of a baby formula, harmonization of the domestic legislation in area of a security and quality of children’s food products to the international legislation according to requirements of the Codex Alimentarius.

The rough volume of means, which necessary for performance of the Program, is 643.43 million UAH from which 457.78 UAH - due to the state budget, 12.3 million UAH - due to the local budget, other means are involved from other sources.

Supposed, that access of children in the age of till three years up to food stuffs would be carried out through children's establishments and treatment-and-prophylactic establishments. Payment of food products is offered to carry out due to the operating Program of the assistance for a child at a birth.
