Unibank Finances Works on Light-Fitting of Kievyan Bridge
OREANDA-NEWS. August 17, 2011. “Unibank” will take active participation in the huge project initiated by the municipality of Unibank on the city accomplishment. In the context of this project Bank provided financial means for the execution of works on the light-fitting of the “Kievyan” bridge”. The volume of finance amounts 15.000.000 AMD, reported the press-centre of Unibank.
Bright lighting, fitted in the astride of the bridge, allows to secure transportation security and to give to the construction the new inking look.. “Kievyan” bridge length - 375 metres and width -27 metres and the height of the bridge is 60 meters.
As noted Chairman of Unibank CJSC Vardan Atayan, the Bank, as the corporate citizen, takes active participation in the social life of society and city, where he lives and develops. We are glad to input our investment in the accomplishment of the city, says Vardan Atayan. “Kievyan” bridge, as architectural object, requires comprehensive light-fitting, which will be placed in the result of cooperation with the municipality of Yerevan. Unibank is ready to influence also in future for the realization of the program of current importance for the city, initiator of which became the major of the Yerevan city Karen Karapetyan.
Social and cultural arrangements have been always in the center of attention of Unibank. The bank has given 3 million AMD for the finance of the renovation works of the specialized educational center in the Yerevan school №128 after L.N.Tolstoy. Unibank also cooperated with the Central Library named after Avetik Isahakyan, actively participated in the charitable arrangements of the “Give life” fund.
Bank gives special attention to the sport arrangements, especially to the child sport. “Unibank” gives financial support for the execution of republican elimination tournament and final of the international team tournament on the unarmed self-defense for 12-13-year-old children. .
The competition will take place in Yerevan and Moscow in July and October 2011.
