OREANDA-NEWS. August 16, 2011. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company provided financial support worth RUR 500,000 for organization and holding of annual international youth ice hockey tournament „Vladislav Tretiak Cup” among players born in 1998, 1999 and 2000 to be hosted in Saint Petersburg from August 12 to 14, 2011. The tournament is organized by Vladislav Tretiak International Sports Academy Foundation.

Let us remind that Ingosstrakh Insurance Company is a partner of the Ice Hockey Federation of Russia since September 2006. Ingosstrakh OJSIC enjoys the status of Official Partner of the Ice Hockey Federation of Russia, Official Partner of Russian National Ice Hockey Team, Youth National Ice Hockey Team and Women’s National Ice Hockey Team, as well as official insurer of the Ice Hockey Federation of Russia.

Ingosstrakh OJSIC pays much attention to support and develop domestic sport considering it to be one the most important components of its social activity. In 1980 the company was the general insurer of the XXII Olympic Summer Games in Moscow, general insurer of the World Youth Games of 1998. The company has been supporting for many years International tennis tournament Kremlin Cup. In 2002 Ingostrrakh OJSIC became its general partner and insurer. In addition the company has been supporting the holding of Davis Cup and Federation Cup in Russia for several years. Since 2003 Ingosstrakh OJSIC became the general partner of Tennis Federation of Russia. In 2011 the insurer signed a cooperation agreement with Paralympic Committee of Russia and Federation of Physical Culture and Sports among disabled persons suffering from lesion of locomotor apparatus.

However the most significant input of Ingosstrakh OJSIC in Russian sport is related to the future winter Olympic games in Sochi. In September 2010 the company gained the official status of the Partner of XXII Olympic Winter Games and XI Paralympic Winter Games of 2014 in Sochi and became the Partner of Olympic and Paralympic Committees of Russia and the Partner of Olympic and Paralympic Russian National Teams in „Insurance” category.
