Belarus Is in Talks with Polish Company to Build Major Sugar Refinery

“We are holding the negotiations. The president of the company visited us yesterday, he met with Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich. We discussed our views and intentions. The government confirmed at the top level that all the conditions and preferences will be available and that all obligations to the Polish side will be fulfilled if they decide to build the refinery,” he said.
Danchenko said the Polish side had held several consultations and surveys in Mogilev Region. Representatives of the Polish company visited four possible locations. They found the one in the Belarusian town of
