OREANDA-NEWS. August 15, 2011. The second “NIBULON’s” tug of a series of the tugs, “NIBULON-2”, is floatedout of the dry dock of Mykolayiv shipbuilding yard “Okean”, reported the press-centre of NIBULON.

A floating gate (caisson) was opened for the fulfillment of the operation in the dry dock and a section of dock was flooded with water. After that “Lidiyivskyy” tug of “NIBULON” brought “NIBULON-2” outside the dock and helped in its mooring to the pier of the yard under the supervision of specialists of the yard and the company.

Thus works on completion of construction of this tug will be continued from now, including installation of electronic equipment, machinery, lifting deck house etc.

Launching shows that the works on construction of the shipbuilding order heads into the homestretch. Floating the vessel was carried out in normal mode. Despite the significance of this event, partners decided not to hold any celebrations on the occasion. Experts from both teams were the only “guests” present.

Our company expresses its sincere gratitude to the management of the yard and shipbuilders, designers and all other partners for assistance in implementing the investment program. This event has become another proof that implementation of the investment project successfully continues despite any obstacles.
