OREANDA-NEWS. August 15, 2011. Ukraine railways transported 6.597 million tons of grain cargoes. In particular, 4.3 million tons carried for export, in the domestic traffic carried 2.311 tons of grain (Donetsk railway carried 243 tons, Prydniprovska - 689 thousand tons, South - 1339 tons, South Western - 1799 thousand tons, Lviv - 297 thousand tons, Odessa - 2228 thousand tons).

The main types of grain cargoes transported: wheat, barley, grain maize, rapeseed and sunflower.

As of August 10, at port stations, port elevators and grain storage complexes, on the journey to them is 4853 loaded carriers of grain.
