OREANDA-NEWS. August 15, 2011. The Commission the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) found that “Rosneft” NK” OJSC violated Clause 1 Part 1 Article 10 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”. The company abused its marker dominance by fixing and maintaining monopolistically high prices for diesel fuel and aviation kerosine in Q4 2010 –January 2011, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

As the company voluntarily eliminated the violation, FAS did not issue a determination to stop the antimonopoly violation.

FAS also suspected that “Rosneft” NK” OJSC had withdrawn the goods from circulation (diesel fuel and aviation kerosine) and created discriminatory conditions for certain counteragents in breach of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”, but these facts were not confirmed.

FAS will take into account these and other circumstances to determine the size of a administrative fine.
